Happy Birthday 2 You

This is my first time joining the gals over at My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club. I had so much fun using their sketch to create a masculine birthday card. I don't know where I've been, but going through some of my scrap-booking magazines I found MFT and now I can not go a day without stopping by their blog and feeling inspired. Just today alone I created 3 different occasion cards including this one, talk about a fun day...lol!!

I used one of their new stamp sets called Birthday Sentiments, I absolutely love it. The different types of fonts are so fabulous!

My cricut was used for this card as I do not own most of their die sets YET...I used Designers Calendar for the scalloped rectangle and April Showers for my banner and my nesting dies for the scalloped oval and oval.

Here is the sketch...

Here is my take on the sketch...

Love U Lots

Good morning!! Today's card is another in which the stamp set was purchased during last months promotion, but like mentioned before there are plenty of heart stamps or if you have the Cricut Artiste Collection you could simply cut some hearts.
Another easy and fast card that could be made in minutes if you needed duplicates!!

Here is today's card...

Life is GOOD...

My goal for this card was to use up a few of my scraps to go along with this adorable bike stamp. I found this really cute cloud paper that I've had forever and thought that it would be perfect to use on my card.

I used the It's Your Day stamp set from CTMH. This item is no longer available as it was a promotion they had at the time I purchased, but there are a lot of cute bike stamps that I've seen out there!

Here is today's card...

Embossed the phrase and bike with black embossing powder and added a few gems to the wheels. Super easy!

Congratulations!

Today's card is for someone who had a baby!! I made it for a baby boy but it could easily be changed for a baby girl by changing the blue to pink! This was super easy to make. I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge collection and a few other stamp sets from CTMH.

Here's my card!

I cut the card base on pg 53 at 4.5 inches, one square at 2.5 inches and the other at 2 inches.
I used the Perfect Fit-Frames Flair stamp set for the 2.5 inch square and the stamp set with the Art Philosophy collection for the 2 inch square.

On the base of the card I stamped an image using the Pirouette Flair stamp set and added a few gems. Followed by some brown ribbon on the corner to finish my card.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about today's card!!

Designer Challenge with MCT

Good afternoon, I decided to join the MCT team challenge. The challenge was to incorporate fabric and stitches to your project. I previously made a small gift for my mom and thought about maybe adding a card to match.  I decided to use a die set and stamp from MCT. Both die sets have beautiful stitches so all I really needed to add was the fabric!  It was very easy and fast to put together, absolutley love the dies and stamp sets!

Here is my card along with the envelope!

I cut my envelope with the MCT-3x3 Fancy Envelope Die using Close to My Heart Flirty Paper. The stamp set used was MCT-So Grateful For You. Finally just added some ribbon on the front and a rose on the back to finish the envelope.

                                                       Front                                                        Back

I kept my card pretty simple. It's also from MCT-Card Sentiments with 3x3 Fancy Tri-fold Card (the coordinating card for the envelope die). All I did was add a wooden tree from Close to My Heart. Really super simply, but super cute!

Hope you enjoyed!

Simple Christmas Card

Good afternoon, today I have a very simple Christmas card! I like the idea of a simple card making because they are fast and easy and you can make tons of them! I used the Close to My Heart Pear & Partridge Cardmaking Kit along with some Cashmere cardstock.

I actually made my card to measure 4x11 so that I could get 3 base cards out of one 12x12 cashmere cardstock. The pattern paper measures at 4x2, Cocoa measures at 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and Colonial White measures at 2 1/2 x 2 1/2. I also used 4 small red glitter gems and the stamp from the kit (the ribbon is from my scraps). I used the Cashmere Ink Pad for my inked image.

You could always add more to the card. Maybe create a background on the base of the card or simply make the words "A Merry Little" a different color. I just wanted to keep it simple in case someone needed an idea for a mass produce card using this fabulous paper!

So Thankful for...

Hi, today I have a little project that I made for my beautiful mom! Just wanted to let her know how much I  love her and how much I'm thankful to have her in my life!

I used the Close to My Heart- Artiste Cartridge for the box, paper fan, banners and the flowers and A Friend Like you stamp set. All of the paper with the exception of the darker shade of pink and the green is from the Flirty Paper Packet, Close to My Heart.

For this project I purchased a 4x6 acrylic frame and glued a  post-it pad. Cut a 4x6 paper using the same designer paper, added some ribbon, roses and a matching pen to finish the project. If you have any questions regarding the projects, please feel to ask!

Hope you enjoyed!
