Precious Girl

This is a card that I made when Scrappy Moms Stamps was having a call for her design team.  I chose to create a card for a baby girl.  I used Storybook for the card base (weld two images at 6.75) and I cut another at 6 (polka dot pattern paper)  and Nursery Rhymes for the font (all cut at 5). I cut the font twice, once with the pink paper and another with the pattern paper. I then trimmed off "Precious" from the pattern paper and glued it to the pink paper. Well here is the card, hope you like it!

Supplies:
Cricut Cartridges: Nursery Rhymes, Storybook
Stampin Up: Crushed Curry, Pixie Pink (card stock)
The Paper Studio: Jung-a-Low, Bung-a-Low BABY (all pattern card stock)
Ink: Crushed Curry (SU), Staz On-Jet Black
Stamp: All night media-Woodgrain, Fabulous Phrases (SU)
Flowers: Prima Market-Summer Fun
Popdots
Brads
Jewels

My Pinkalicious Blog Hop

Good morning everyone! I have decided to join the blog hop over at The Pink Stamper's Blog. The challenge is to show our style making our favorite thing!  It could be our favorite color combo, our favorite Cricut cartridge, or our favorite technique. Just to have some fun and with kind of stress! Doesn't this sound fun!! Go on over to her blog to join the fun and to enter in her fabulous giveaway!

Recently, I have fallen in love with creating my own pattern paper using stamps.  I have seen it a lot, but never done it.  I really like the way my cards turn out using this technique, in my opinion it adds so much! I also tried challenging myself by NOT using my cricut and just a few current products! WHAT?!?!? I LOVE my cricut, but I LOVE my stamps too. I have so many other cutting systems and inks that I love, but just haven't used them in such a long time and thought that this would be a great time to dust them off and bring them out!

So here it is...

To cut the ovals out, I used the oval template from the coluzzle. No worries if you don't have this I'm pretty sure you have an oval cut out in one of those cricut cartridges you own...lol! I stamped the sewing machine with StazOn ink and used a craft knife to cut it out. The pink rectangle are measured at 1.75 by 4 and the white piece measures 1.5 by 3.75.

With this sentiment (in which I love) the yellow piece was cut at 2.25 by 1 and the white was cut at 2 1/8 by 7/8.

Supplies:
Cuttlebug
StazOn: Jet Black
Ribbon: Scraps
Stamp: TPC Studio- Sewing
Stampin Up: Coluzzle Cutting System
Inks: Stampin Up- Bermuda Bay, Pink Passion
Cuttlebug Embossing Folders: Swiss Dots, Perfectly Paisley
Stampin UP Markers: Crushed Curry, Pink Passion, Bermuda Bay
Card Stock: Craft-Recollection, White-Stampin Up, Pink and Yellow- Scraps

Robotz Birthday

Happy Friday!! I hope everyone's has had a fabulous week!  I wanted to share another birthday card that I made using the Robotz Cricut Cartridge. I absolutely love this cartridge! All of the robot cuts are so darn cute.  It such a great cartridge if you have a little boy, I plan on using it as a party cartridge when my little one gets older (I say that because I already have plans for his 1st birthday party using my Carousel Cricut Cartridge). It will make great invitations and it has 3D robots that can be used for center pieces.  It really is a great Cartridge.  I like the way my card turned out, I used a fiskar's balloon punch to cut the balloons and just drew strings to the robots hand. I also gave some of the balloons a dimension by adding some pop dots! Here you go...

Designer Paper: The Paper Studio-A Boys Universe
Cricut Cartridge: Robotz

Manly Birthday Card

Ok, so I think it's my fault if it starts to storm I mean my goodness 3 posts back to back, what's going on...lol!!  I'm having fun sharing my creations with all of you! I just hope that you are finding at least one thing that inspires you.  If you are like me, I have many blogs that I love to follow. There are so many talented crafters that truly inspire me and I just hope that I can be one just for you. Today, I am sharing a card that I made for my husband. If you ask me I think the hardest thing to create is a card for a man, I don't know why but for me it just is. I didn't use my cricut at all, just some designer paper and a sticker and I love the way it turned out. I can't believe that it only took me 20 minutes to think and create this card, the more I make that faster I seem to create in my mind (if that makes sense...lol)!  Here it is...

Supplies Used:
Paper: DCWV-Linen Closet Stack (love it)
Michael's Craft Store: Cupcake 3-D Sticker
American Crafts-White Embossing Powder

Boy's Mini Album

Hello, wonderful scrappers! I hope everyone's creative mind had a good rest!! I know I'm rested this morning, I mean come on now 2 blogs in 2 days...wow!! Just wanted to share a little something because I know I'm not the only one out there, but sometimes (actually many many times) I can not sleep because I'm constantly thinking of what I should do next...lol! I'm serious, many time after putting my son to sleep I've stayed awake until 2am.  I know, I know, I should be asleep with him, but sometimes that's my only time to scrap.  My husband calls our son the "Scrapping Baby" because he has to be around me when I scrap and he LOVES to watch my Cricut cut out my images...lol, no joke! So, as much as I love my son, he makes it a bit hard to scrap when he is up!! Here is some proof...

Now on to my project! Creations with Christina inspired me to create my first mini album.  I scrap lifted a few of her ideas, but tried to make them my own in some way. If you click on her name it will take you to her project. Here is my version and I hope you get inspired just like I did!

MPS-National Scrapbook Day Challenge #11

MPS Challenge #11-Make a project and use Pink, Green and Black in it!

This was a very easy and quick 3x3 card. I normally don't make any this size, but I thought that it would be a cute idea to make a small card just to thank someone, tell them hello or to tell them hey, I'm thinking about you! I will definitely be making more this size!

Well it came to an end and I thank you for stopping by! If you have any questions about any of my projects, please feel free to leave a comment or email me!

I don't know how many different treats I am going to have, but what would a circus be without popcorn and cotton candy!!

MPS Challenge #4-Make something with a Mother's Day Theme!

Now this one was my favorite.  I was so excited to give it to my mom that I forgot to take a picture of it! My sister used her phone to take the picture and send it to me. Sorry for the bad photo, but I hope you like it!

Oh well, I'm still giving it to my husband to let him know how much I love him and appreciate everything that he does for my and my son!

Paisley - Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Good afternoon! I decided to join the challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps and this week their cartridge choice was Paisley.  I love this cartridge, it has many cute cuts and my mind could not choose...ahhhh!!  Well I ended up choosing the design on page 53! I kept it simple because I will be duplicating for several women in my church.  I welded two purses together to make the card and simply made all the other cuts that go along with this design. I used some metallic embossing powder for the saying and liquid pearls for the scallops. Hope you like it!

Happy Anniversary

My goal from now on is not just to post a lot more, but to also add to my stash of cards that I have made. I don't want to create a card at the last minute, I want to take my time and put more thought into my cards. I know the more I create the better I will get and I appreciate all the comments that everyone leaves me, you do not know how much your comments have motivated me to keep creating! So on to my card...

Thanks and have a Blessed and Beautiful Day!!

Wishing You Happiness

I'm a bit late on posting, but I wanted to post my card up either way! I was inspired by the Royal Wedding and thought that it would be a good idea to create a wedding card since I didn't have one in my stash of cards! I didn't get up to watch the wedding, but I did record it and I enjoyed it! I also joined a challenge over at Whimsical Wednesday for their "It's A Royal Celebration" challenge who was recommended by Lisa. Thanks Lisa!!
