Simon Says Stamp Anything But A Card Challenge

Hi friends!  I'm happy to announce that I am back, lol!! I took a little break, probably a little longer than I wanted but I'm glad to be back in my craft room!!

Today I wanted to share a project that I made for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! The challenge is to create "Anything But A Card Challenge".

Here is what I created!!

I used my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to create my boxes, perfect for a chocolate candy bar to go in. For my tag and embellishments I used MFT So Much Love stamp set for the sentiment and MFT Tag Builder BP 5 for the tag and arrow. For my hearts, I took two different sizes from the Lawn Fawn Hearts Die set and cut them out from 2 different shades of pink.

I really enjoyed making these and plan on making a few more for some teachers at my son's school!!

Thank you again for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!!

Pretty Cute Stamps "Love" Challenge

Hi crafty friends, so happy that you are joining us today for the Pretty Cute Stamps Love ChallengeYou can click HERE to get all of the details on how to enter your project and a chance to win a $15 Gift Certificate!

Here is my project...

I decided to get a head start on some Valentine gifts for my son's class. The treat/pencil holder design is not mine, I came across Kerry's Paper Crafts and fell in love with this treat holder design, you can read her original post HERE!

I found these pencils at Target and had to grab them. I love the the blue mixed in with the pinks and reds and since these will be from my son, they were PERFECT!

I used Forest Friends to create my heart background. I simply placed my hearts on a clear block and stamped my image several times using SSS Caribbean Blue Ink. I also took the heart image from Holiday Planner to fill in a few empty spaces.

I cut my heart using my Cricut and took the phrase "You've got the WRITE stuff" from The Write Stuff stamp set and stamped it with some CTMH Black Ink and then I took the word Valentine's from the Holiday Planner and carefully inked it with some SSS Hot Lips Ink so that it would just read Valentine and stamped it to my heart to help finish my phrase!

Well I hope you liked my project, thank you so much again for stopping by! Please don't forget to join us in this challenge for a chance to win a $15 Gift Certificate to the Pretty Cute Stamps Store!

Have a FABULOUS day!!

Personalized Lollipop Treats *Giveaway*

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

Today I am sharing some fun treats! These will be great for classmates, students, and even coworkers. I received some personalized flair with the names of my kids from TCP etsy shop and used them to personalized some treats for Valentines.

Here are the steps:
  • Start with a 3 1/2 x 4 piece of White Daisy cardstock
  • On the 3 1/2 inch side score at 1/2 and 3
  • Rotate clockwise and on the 4 inch side score at 7/8
  • After you have scored everything place your piece of cardstock where the 3 1/2 inch side is horizontal and the 4 inch side is vertical.
  • There will be two rectangles at the bottom left and right corner, take some scissors and remove those two sections.
  • I took my corner rounder and rounded the top corners and the bottom corner (the part that will fold up)
I took a background stamp and stamped the image to create my background and took the little heart from the CTMH Countdown stamp set to add in random places. I punched (2) 1 3/8 circles from some Cranberry and Cotton Candy cardstock, (2) 1 1/4 circles from White Daisy cardstock and stamped an image using the CTMH Perfect Fit- Dad stamp set with some Cranberry and Cotton Candy Ink onto the White Daisy circles.

I layered them and added my beautiful personalized flair. Finishing them off by cutting some gold pieces of cardstock into banners and a cherry lollipop!

I hope you enjoyed today's mini project. Thanks for stopping by!

Mini Lunch Box Notes "Giveaway Alert"

Hi, today I'm sharing a quick and easy little project.

I came across this cute stamp set in the CTMH Seasonal Expressions Catalog. I know there are tons of little critters/cute monster stamps out there, but I just loved this one and for only $9.95, I had to get them!

Aren't they cute?!?! I made 3x3 notecards, perfect for those lunch box notes and even for Valentines mini cards. My son doesn't start school until fall, but when he saw me making these he asked me if they were for him, lol, so I definitely know the kids will love them. I glued some googly eyes on them to make them a bit more fun.

That's all for today, thanks for stopping by!

Valentine Treats #1 (My First Giveaway)

Hi and thanks for stopping by!

With Valentine's Day coming up, I thought that it would be a great idea to get a head start and share with you some fun and inexpensive treat gift ideas. I'm turning this into a mini series, so stay tuned for some fun and cute ideas!

Here is my creation...

I cut these adorable pillow boxes using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge out of transparency sheets (image on pg 28) at 5 inches. I scored all the areas that needed to be scored and placed scor tape to close my box. I also used the CTMH Artiste and CTMH Artbooking Cartridges to cut my labels. I used the coordinating stamp set that came with the Artbooking collection for the base of my labels and Holiday Tags Occasions stamp set for the center and sentiments.

Finally, I filled them up with Hershey Chocolate Kisses and wrapped then tied some ribbon to secure the pillow box closed. I used a glue dot to place my labels on the treats, finishing them off with some bling.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and as I stated, I'm having my first giveaway! I'm super stoked with having a little over 40 likes on my FB page, so thank you to everyone that has liked my page and to those special crafters who follow me on my blog!
