Hippo Birdie to You!

Hi, and thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a card that I made for Butterfly Reflections Ink.

Here it is...

I started off with a  4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card base. I took some pattern paper from the Avery Elle Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad and took the largest square using MFT-Cross-Stitched Square die set to cut my first square. I then took the 3rd largest square and some white card stock for my last square.

Taking Lawn Fawn Year Four stamp and die set (I absolutely LOVE this mini set), I stamped, embossed and watercolored my images on some watercolor paper! This was my first time and I really like the way my little critters and balloons turned out.

Finished my card by stamping the sentiment at the bottom and added some foam adhesive to my images and squares to help add some fabulous dimension to the card.

Well that is all! Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS Wednesday Challenge- Inspiration Color Swatch

Hi and thank you so much for stopping by!

I created a card for the SSS Wednesday Challenge. I absolutely feel in love the colors that I HAD to make a card!

This is their inspirational color swatch...

And here is my card...

I used LF-Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables to cut out a white frame for my shaker card and then took the SSS-Ribbon Banner to cut several banners out of white card stock and colored each one using SSS-Ink (Audrey Blue, Doll Pink, Cotton Candy, Mint, Surf Blue).

I used my Cricut to cut out my sentiment from white card stock and then heat embossed it with some Zing Gold embossing powder.

Hope you enjoyed and once again thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!!

"Thank You" Card

Hi crafty friends! So happy you could join my today! I have been missing in action for a while for a couple of reasons.

First, I was finishing and delivering all of my orders that were placed for Teacher Appreciation week, and what can I say I was truly blessed to get so many orders! Second, I turned the big 30, WOOHOO, and my husband gave me the biggest surprise (totally did not expect it) he crashed my craft room!!! Even though the crash didn't go entirely as he planned (which included having to let go THREE contractors), he made me the happiest woman on earth and made me feel beyond special knowing that he believes in what I LOVE to do (pictures coming soon)!!

Well with all that being said here is today's card...

I purchased a few ink pads from Simon Says Stamp when they had them on sale, and what can I say... I LOVE these inks!! I stamped my background using SSS-Wide Stripes with some SSS Ink Lemon Chiffon. Then I took Avery Elle Laurels (one of my favorite stamp and die set) to create a bundle of flowers, stamping them out with SSS Inks (Mint, Beanstalk Green,Cotton Candy, Lavender) note: I used the 2nd generation for Beanstalk Green.

I created a cluster and added my sentiment in the upper right hand corner. To finish my card, I added a few Something Shiny sequins from TCP.

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by!
