Candy Bar Treat Boxes

Hi friends, today I am sharing this fun post over at The Crafty Pickle blog!

I'm currently working on a few items for an upcoming craft fair that I will be participating in. I shared this project last year in December, a step-by-step on how to make the box treat, but this time around I used my Cricut and a couple of the CTMH Cricut Cartridges to decorate my boxes.

Here are a couple that I've made so far...

I used the CTMH Artistry Cartridge to cut out my snowflakes out of some glitter card stock and added some foam dimensional to add a bit of dimension to them.

 I took the Treats of Friendship stamp set, also from Close to My Heart, to stamp the cute image on my tag.

The deer and the design behind the deer came from the CTMH Artistry Cartridge and the ornament was cut using the CTMH Artiste Cartridge. For the sentiment on the deer box, I used the CTMH Holiday Tags stamp set to add my sentiment.

SSS Wednesday Challenge- Inspiration Color Swatch

I created a card for the SSS Wednesday Challenge. I absolutely feel in love the colors that I HAD to make a card!

This is their inspirational color swatch...

And here is my card...

I used LF-Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables to cut out a white frame for my shaker card and then took the SSS-Ribbon Banner to cut several banners out of white card stock and colored each one using SSS-Ink (Audrey Blue, Doll Pink, Cotton Candy, Mint, Surf Blue).

I used my Cricut to cut out my sentiment from white card stock and then heat embossed it with some Zing Gold embossing powder.

Today I am joining the gals over at Freshly Made Sketches for the first time!! Like I mentioned in one of my previous post, I'm participating in different challenge to help myself become a better card maker and to keep my creative juices flowing!

Here is the sketch...

I used some dots from Technique Tuesday Mom=Love stamp set to stamp out my background with some Avery Elle Pigment Inks.

I took some vellum and MFT- Birthday Sentiments stamp set to stamp out "happy" with some GoldenGlitz Delicata Ink and used my Cricut to cut "birthday".

I really like the way this card came out (sorry for the awful lighting, I'm REALLY trying to find a decent spot to get a better picture, I'm totally open for suggestions about lighting or maybe a lamp with a certain bulb that you use).
