Birthday Card using CTMH Products

Hi friends so happy that you have stopped by!

Today I am sharing a fun and simple birthday card. I used the CTMH Artistry Cartridge and CTMH Birthday Sparkles stamp set!!

Here is my card...

I took some white embossing paste and some Cashmere CTMH ink to add some color to my paste. Using a dotted stencil I applied the paste to the base of my card to add a little texture.

I cut the ice cream cone image on pg.17 in the Artistry handbook out of some watercolor paper and used some watercolors to paint my cone and ice cream.  Once that dried, I used foam adhesive to add my cone to the card to help add more dimension.

I finished it off by stamping my sentiment using the CTMH Birthday Sparkles stamp set onto some vellum with some black embossing powder and that's it, nothing else to it!! I really had lots of fun creating this card, great for anyone celebrating a birthday!!

I appreciate you stopping by, thanks so much! Have a fabulous day!!

"Happy Birthday" CTMH Build-a-Cake

Hi friends! Today I am  this birthday card over at The Crafty Pickle Blog. I used the Close to My Heart "Build-a-Cake" stamp set to create it!

I started off my stamping my cake image using CTMH Inks in colors Black, Honey and Cotton Candy! I did want to point out that the top layer image of my cake is part of the stamp set (the original image has some flowers, but after I stamped my image I took a blending pen and some of the Cotton Candy ink and filled those flowers in to give me a polka dotted cake layer). I then took a black gel pen to outline my cake and add some small details to my flower on top and simply layered my top panel to some pattern paper.

I completed my card by stamping my sentiment onto some vellum and adhered both my sentiment and some AWESOME TCP Relish Mix to my card. I know in the first picture my top left sequins look a bit purple but it's actually pink, I think my light was hitting it a bit too much, but you can see the pink in the second photo a lot better.

Well that is all for today, thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Here is a look at the stamp set I used!

"Oh Happy Day" CTMH Cricut Artiste Collection

Hi friends, thank you so much for stopping by!

Today I am sharing this card over at The Crafty Pickle blog and I would love if you could stop by their blog to check out other projects from the other Design Team Members.

As you may know, I own 4 out of 5 of the Cricut Collections that Close to My Heart offers. I absolutely love them. So with that being said I took one of the stamp sets from the Cricut Artiste Collection to create my card!

I started out with stamping and masking some balloons onto my front panel using CTMH Inks in colors Lagoon, Cotton Candy, and Honey and stamped the balloon strings using the same stamp set with some CTMH Black Ink.

Using the same stamp set from the Cricut Artiste Collection, I took one of the sentiments and stamped it with some Honey Ink and used my scissors to cut it out, there is an image on this cartridge that will cut this banner.

Before gluing my top panel to the base of my card, I took an older CTMH stamp set One Way Border and stamped one of the images multiple times with Black Ink to create a background. I finished it off by gluing my top panel down and gluing some TCP Relish Mix to my card.

Hope you enjoyed and thank you so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

SSS Wednesday Challenge - Sparkle and Shine

Happy Thursday and  thanks so much for stopping by!

Today I am joining the wonderful SSS Wednesday Challenge DT! The challenge is Sparkle and Shine!

Here is my card...

I finally bought a Fuse Tool and let me tell you, I love it!! I wasn't patient at first with it (I didn't wait the 15 minutes to heat, lol) but after I got the hang of it, I was rolling! I cut the ice cream part out of a page protector and sealed part of it up, filled it up with some TCP Relish Mix and sealed the rest to keep the sequins from falling out (you do have to work rather quickly as the tool can burn the plastic VERY EASILY and QUICKLY).

I added my sentiment using PS- Bold Buzzwords on some acetate with StazOn and finished the card by adding some pattern paper, Glossy Accent to the cherry, foam adhesive to the back of my cone and a few more TCP Relish Mix to my card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

Hippo Birdie to You!

Hi, and thanks for stopping by! Today I'm sharing a card that I made for Butterfly Reflections Ink.

Here it is...

I started off with a  4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card base. I took some pattern paper from the Avery Elle Everyday Collection 6x6 paper pad and took the largest square using MFT-Cross-Stitched Square die set to cut my first square. I then took the 3rd largest square and some white card stock for my last square.

Taking Lawn Fawn Year Four stamp and die set (I absolutely LOVE this mini set), I stamped, embossed and watercolored my images on some watercolor paper! This was my first time and I really like the way my little critters and balloons turned out.

Finished my card by stamping the sentiment at the bottom and added some foam adhesive to my images and squares to help add some fabulous dimension to the card.

Well that is all! Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS Work it Wednesday March 2015

Hi, and thanks for stopping by!

Today I'm sharing a couple of birthday cards that I created using 2 of my favorite stamps for SSS Work it Wednesday March 2015 Challenge.

I used ME-Soiree stamp set for my cake and AE-Cake & Candles for my sentiment. I stamped my image on some white card stock using some Avery Elle Pigment Inks and stamped my sentiment on some vellum, in which I layered on top.

I used the LF-Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables die to cut some matching CTMH card stock to lay on the top layer of my card base. Finished my cards by adding some dimensional adhesive to my sentiment layer and some gold sequins.

These were so easy to make and can be made in many colors! I encourage you to join simply to help your creative juices flow and if it's not this challenge find one that interest you, the more you challenge yourself the easier it gets to create something.

Thanks again for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!
