"You're In My Prayers" Card

Hi friends, hope that your week is going well! I wanted to stop by and share a card with you that I made for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! You can read more about it HERE!

Here's my card!

I started off by taking the Small Stitched Rectangle Die from Lawn Fawn to cut out a rectangle from some Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock and added some Fossilized Amber Distress Ink. To add a bit of a distressing look, I took the Distress Sprayer and lightly sprayed water to pick up some color.

I then took the MFT Stitched Oval Scallop Frames and cut them out of some white cardstock and added the smallest oval straight to my card with glue and added some fun foam to my larger oval to add some nice dimension.

I carefully stamped part of my sentiment to my card using the SSS Prayers stamp set and used the coordinating die (in which I cut 5 times to glue one on top of the other) to complete it.

Scattered a few clear sequins and called it quits!

Well I hope you liked it, thanks so much for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

"Thank You" cards

Happy Monday friends!

Wanted to share a couple of thank you cards that I made this past weekend using the Thanks Simple Sentiments stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps!

Super easy and simple. I simply stamped the butterfly, using the same stamp set, onto some watercolor paper with some white embossing powder. After heat embossing it I took some distress ink and tried to create an ombre background.

I finished off the card by adding some pattern and glitter paper to the left side of my card and my sentiment.  I absolutely LOVE the big bold "thank you" sentiment and all of the mini phrases that come in this set! There are SO MANY different types of thank you cards you can make with it!

Well that's all I had for you today, thank you so much for stopping by!

Have a fabulous day!

Distress Ink Blending Birthday Card

Hi and Happy Friday!

Today I have a birthday card to share with you. I haven't used my distress inks in a while and thought I should put them to use.

Here is today's card...

First, I stamped the Neat & Tangle Tiny Triangles with some Versa Mark and added some white embossing powder to heat emboss my image.  I then took some Distress Inks in colors Crushed Olive and Tumbled Glass and blended them together. I decided to take some clear acetate to stamp my sentiment using the Avery Elle Number Balloons and carefully glued it on top of my background.

I took a slightly larger piece of black card stock to help border my front panel and then took some watercolor paint in black to "splash" some on my card base. I finished it off my adding some We R Memory Keepers Enamel Shapes, twine and foam adhesive to my front panel.

Hope you enjoyed today's card! Thank you so much for stopping by, have a FABULOUS weekend!

"Happy Birthday" Distress Ink Fun

Hi, today I have a fun card I made using the distress inks from Tim Holtz. I am loving my stash and am having super fun creating with them.

First I white heat embossed my sentiment on my watercolor paper and after placing two different colors of distress inks on my craft mat and spraying it with water I then placed my watercolor paper right on top and pressed down. I picked up my paper and moved it around to help the colors move on the paper. I really love the look and the way my card turned out. I am definitely going to make another card like this one...lol!

Here is my card:
